The Industry Council for Stage Dance in Denmark invites to its General Assembly and salon/meeting at Forsøgsstationen, Sdr. Boulevard 81, Kbh V on Monday May 18th, 2026 at 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
As part of the General Assembly, we would like to continue the talks, we had at the New Year’s Reception at København Danser Studios on January 28th, 2026 – and the discussions around all the yellow notes we made from the questions and comments, we had:
- Share something you are currently occupied with (connected to dance/your work)
- Share a wish for the field of dance and choreography in this new year
- Share something you wish for yourself in this new year
- Name one measure you see needed in order to strengthen dance and choreography (in DK) right now
- Share something or someone that has inspired you recently
- Name a topic you would like to discuss at a symposium on working conditions for dance
- Share something you miss in your everyday work life
- Share a platform, venue or context which is important for you in your everyday work life

Furthermore, we would like to talk about a workshop, held in Aarhus on April 30th, 2026 by Bora Bora and Performing Arts Platform regarding the working conditions within dance in Denmark. Helle Bach, Carolina Bäckman and Jens Christian Jensen attended. Here is link to the workshop (in Danish).
